One Piece of Advice
“Don’t fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place next year as you are today.”
Why I Became a Financial Planner
Ever since he can remember, Cole has admired those who have a plan in place for their lives and do what it takes to achieve their goals. He has had an innate talent for empowering others to this end – and that talent has found the perfect home at Cadent Capital! Together, his desire to affect positive change and service-oriented attitude make for ideal catalysts in developing and encouraging clients to attain their best financial life possible.
My Career & Credentials
Cole grew up in the Dallas area before attending Texas A&M University in College Station. During his college years, he worked at Pine Cove and greatly enjoyed serving teenagers as a musician and program staffer at the Timbers camp. After achieving his Bachelor of Science in Economics, he began his financial services career in January of 2017 with United Capital Financial Advisors. During the two years he spent there, he was internally promoted to work with six advisors across the United States virtually as a Client Relationship Manager.
Cole passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in July of 2019 and earned the designation after meeting the experience requirement four months later. He holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 securities licenses in the state of Texas with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. He joined the Cadent team in November of 2019, and we couldn’t be happier to have him onboard!
Life Away from the Office
Cole and his amazing wife Joanna just got married in March of 2021! He thrives in community with others, whether that involves spending time with friends at a local coffee shop, exploring the city, or leading worship at Chase Oaks Church in Plano. When he has time to himself, you can often find him playing the piano, watching any sport that involves a ball, or checking out new restaurants.
